An Echo in the Bone

Just finished reading this, the 7th book in the Outlander series. The book is full of well-drawn details about several battles during the American Revolution, life in the Carolina mountains, the practice of medicine, and what it might be like to live back then. Diana Gabaldon is fabulous, a master at conveying raw details in a fascinating, and sometimes riveting, manner. I love/hate that it ended with so many plot lines unresolved; in fact, these plots were at the fever pitch point of the climax. I would have bought the new book anyway, Diana! You didn't have to make me wait years to find out what happens to these characters!
